Lemons make Lemonade

Keiki picked lemons from the farm's lemon trees, and helped wash and juice them.

We made straws from papaya stems!

To soak up our farm fresh lemonade, we snacked on brown rice, nori, and cucumbers.

Eggplant Mini Pizzas

The farm was brimming with these beauties, and though eggplants aren't necessarily every child's favorite, a new culinary hack was discovered... make them into pizza! Simply slice, air fry, add toppings, heat, enjoy. YUM!

May troubles be bubbles...

We popped off our first week back on the farm with magic bubble wands and songs! My daughters and I trialed and errored these wands, and found the width of the pipe cleaner matters a great deal! Look for 3-4 mm pipe cleaners.

Story Time

We sang about Tiny Tim's bubbly bathtub mishap, read "On My Beach", and watched puppet pals Hoku and Lani head to the shore to visit Honu the Sea Turtle. Then, we row, row, rowed our boats home...
